LuckyLGS (“we,” “us”), operated by Lucky Neko Development Studio and based in Texas, United States, provides software that local game stores use to run events, take registrations, and manage their community. This policy explains what we collect and why. For questions, contact keelan@luckyneko.dev.
We act as a data controller for the accounts and data of the stores that use our platform, and as a processor on behalf of those stores for the player/customer data they collect through us.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or use it for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Payments are processed by Stripe. When a store connects Stripe, it onboards directly with Stripe and card/bank details are entered on Stripe's pages, not ours. Stripe's handling of that data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. See our Trust & compliance page for more.
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the platform, and with the store you interact with:
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize the personal information we control within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law — for example, payment and transaction records associated with Stripe are typically retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and financial-recordkeeping obligations.
For player and registration data that a store collects through us, the store determines how long to keep it; when a store closes its account, we delete or return that data in line with the store's instructions and the timeframe above.
Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email keelan@luckyneko.dev. If a store collected your data through us, we may direct your request to that store as the controller of that data.
Several U.S. states — including Texas (the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act), California (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and a growing number of others — give their residents specific rights over personal data. Subject to the conditions and exceptions in your state's law, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email keelan@luckyneko.dev. We will verify your request using the information associated with your account and respond within the timeframe your state's law requires (generally 45 days, extendable where permitted). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where the law allows.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing keelan@luckyneko.dev with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will respond with the outcome and our reasons. If your appeal is denied, residents of some states (for example, Texas, Colorado, and Connecticut) may contact their state Attorney General to submit a complaint.
Where a store collected your data through our platform, that store is the controller of that data; we will forward your request to the store or act on its instructions as a processor.
In addition to the rights above, California's CCPA/CPRA requires us to describe the categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories:
We collect this information from you directly, from stores you interact with, and from Stripe for payments. We use it for the purposes described under “How we use information,” and we disclose it only to the service providers and stores described under “Who we share information with.” We have not sold or shared personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond providing the service. California residents may also ask us, once a year, to disclose the categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing (we do not do this).
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service. We do not use them for third-party advertising, and we do not use analytics or marketing cookies.
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Stores are responsible for any additional consent required when minors attend their events.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the app.
