Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LuckyLGS(the “Service”), operated by Lucky Neko Development Studio. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're using the Service on behalf of a store, you represent that you're authorized to bind that store.

LuckyLGSprovides tools for local game stores to publish casual events, take RSVPs and (where enabled) paid registrations, manage a player community, and present a public store page. The Service is for casual, non-sanctioned events; officially sanctioned tournaments must be run through the game publisher's official programs.

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for activity under your account and for your staff members' access.
• You must be able to form a binding contract and comply with laws that apply to you.

Paid registrations are processed through Stripe Connect. Your store connects its own Stripe account and is the merchant of record for every transaction. This means:

• You must accept Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and comply with it.
• You are responsible for delivering your events, and for refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, and customer service.
• You are responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any taxes on what you sell.
• Payouts are made to your Stripe account on Stripe's schedule; we don't hold your funds.

Our fees:[Describe your subscription pricing here once set — see roadmap Phase 5.5.] We may also charge a small per-registration platform fee via Stripe; this is currently set to $0. We'll give notice before introducing or changing fees.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or run events you're not permitted to run.
• Upload malicious code, attempt to breach security, or access other stores' data.
• Misuse player data or send unlawful communications.
• Circumvent or replace official sanctioned-play reporting where it's required.

When you collect players' information through the Service, you are the controller of that data and must handle it lawfully, including providing any notices and honoring any requests your customers are entitled to. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

We retain all rights in the Service. You retain rights in the content you upload (store branding, logos, event icons and images, photos, event details), and grant us the license needed to host and display it to operate the Service. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners; we're not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

You are responsible for what you upload.When you upload images or other content, you represent and warrant that you own the content or have all rights and permissions needed to use and display it, and that it does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, or other rights. You agree to indemnify and hold Lucky Neko Development Studio harmless from claims arising out of content you upload. We provide a library of generic icons you can use freely; if you upload your own artwork instead, clearing the rights is on you.

We may remove content we reasonably believe is infringing or unlawful, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe. Rights holders can report claimed infringement to keelan@luckyneko.dev with the material identified and proof of ownership; we review and act on valid notices promptly.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucky Neko Development Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the [12 months] before the claim. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive (such as fees owed and liability limits) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. [Add venue / dispute-resolution terms with your lawyer.]

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
